Cheryl Colombo creates dynamic imagery of people, events, products and of course, dogs.
She is a graduate of Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) and New York Institute of Photography. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Cheryl teaches Paw-tography: Intro to Pet Photography at CDIA and has also taught digital photography for Newton Community Education.
She is the creator and primary photographer of Pimp My Pug and Chihuahua-Palooza, annual photo shoot fundraisers, benefitting local dog rescues.
She is a proud member of HeARTs Speak, a network of professional photographers dedicated to increasing pet adoption rates and decreasing euthanasia by showing pets in their best light.
Cheryl is also a member of Smile For a Cure. Smile For a Cure is a national network of caring photographers who donate a portion of their session fees to The National Canine Cancer Foundation.
She lives in Lowell, MA with her partner of 22 years and one extremely spoiled pug dog.
